Geelong Duck ID Training (April 29)
Details
Duck ID Training Session: April 29 at 6pm.
Event information
Registrations for this event are not currently available.
Geelong Field & Game will conduct a Duck ID Training Session on Monday, April 29, from 6pm at Connewarre Wetland Centre. Please note that you may choose to attend this session in person or online via a Zoom link; simply choose your preferred method during the registration process. If you choose to attend online via Zoom, information regarding how to access the session will be provided to you in the email confirming your registration.
The training session is FREE, however you must 'Register' (above) to book your spot and pay a $10 registration fee per person. Registration fees will be reimbursed following registered participants' completion of the training session.
A Waterfowl Identification Test will be held on Monday, May 6, from 6pm at the same venue. The WIT fee is $34.90 and WIT bookings must be made through the GMA portal.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have a MyGL account AND have completed the online learning modules BEFORE you can book for and sit the WIT. For more information on MyGL, click HERE.
⚠️ A reminder from the GMA: a Junior can hold a Provisional Game Licence for 1 year for duck or hound hunting WITHOUT having to complete a test, BUT their Provisional Licence must be linked with a hunter who has passed that relevant test. If the Junior then wishes to extend their game licence beyond that one-year period, they would then need to sit for the relevant test and pass to have that endorsement added.
